In this ERCI webinar you will learn about the role of human factors for the railway sector.
The Berlin-based HFC, part of the Cluster Transport, Mobility and Logistics Berlin-Brandenburg, was founded in 2003 as one of the first private-law institutes in the field of human factors in Germany. Then as now, the goal of HFC is to recognise and solve problems in the adaptation of technology to people. HFC specialises in the design of technical systems and software interfaces with regard to usability, product experience, acceptance and safety. This is made possible by an interdisciplinary team that combines expertise in psychology, engineering and computer science. The presentation of HFC provides an insight into the multifaceted research field of Human Factors in transportation. HFC is particularly interested in the challenges the audience is facing in the railway sector.
