ERCI Webinar | Hydrogen in rail: Myth or reality

ERCI Webinar | Hydrogen in rail: Myth or reality

Four perspectives exploring hydrogen policy, rolling stock, infrastructure and retrofit

What to expect?

For many Hydrogen is the solution for rail and for others it’s the unicorn of rail.  But separating fact and fiction, myth and reality is difficult.  We are delighted to provide this webinar to audiences across Europe, to tackle this one and for all.

As the first in our Hydrogen series, we have curated an impressive line up and have challenged our expert speakers on policy, rolling stock, infrastructure and retrofit, with answering the following questions.

1.      Can hydrogen be the future of rail and what does this actually mean for passengers, operators, funders (Governments) and the supply chain?  Helen Simpson, CEO, Enspired Consulting

2.       From an operational perspective, can Hydrogen vehicles deliver more – safety, reliability, performance?  TBC

3.       What infrastructure is required to deliver a viable hydrogen fleet and can it be easily scaled? Guido Piccoli, CEO, ALOT

4.       Why should conversion of equipment to hydrogen be the first option for existing rail equipment and specific railway environment of hydrogen used in shunting?    Antonio Ghiglia, President, Sitav

We hope you agree, this will be an excellent exploration into the topic of hydrogen in rail, and with an extended Q&A session, we expect some interesting questions.

Who should attend?

We welcome any member company from any ERCI clusters.

In addition, we welcome any local /municipal authority / Government / stakeholder who is considering hydrogen for rail projects as well as members of the supply chain which may already support the needs for hydrogen, or which may be exploring adapting their offering to hydrogen.
